Treat your cat to a bit of the outdoors with a small patch of home-grown grass.
Cats love to nibble on grass, and home-grown grass is especially nice for indoor or city cats that never have the opportunity to eat fresh grass. To grow your own wheat grass:
1. Purchase wheat-berry grains at a health food market. They can be purchased in bulk and stored for up to one year in a dry, cool, dark place.
2. Sprinkle the grains over a quality, rich soil and place in a sunny window.
3. Water or mist the grains lightly each day. Soon your seeds will sprout and develop into grass shoots.
If you don't want to grow it yourself you can pick it up already grown from your local health food store.
